Israeli strike hits Gaza’s only Catholic church; priest injured, four seriously wounded, two women reportedly killed.

Gunmen killed a security guard and abducted three seminarians in in the Catholic Diocese of Auchi in Nigeria’s Edo State on the night of 10 July.

A Polish bishop has declared, during a homily given at Poland’s holiest Catholic shrine, that the country “is ruled by political gangsters”, warning of the dangers of irregular migration which will lead to the “Islamisation of Europe”.

Christian leaders have spoken out following the July 7 attack by Israel settlers on the 5th century Church of St. George in Tabyeh, a town in the West Bank with a Christian majority. The attack also damaged the Christian cemetery next to the site.
